Curvita table lamp is a hand crafted sculptural piece that embodies flow and movement. Its solid wood body transmits softness and warmth while creating a unique sense of rhythm within its curves. Inspired in the moment in between rains in the Ecuadorian rain forest; with its palpitating energy that is flowing between each insect, plant and soil. Especially in the beautiful and delicate dance a water droplet makes form the top of tress to lower leaves and to soil.

The flow of this moment its embodied by carefully hand sculpting asymmetrical curves into solid fair trade Huarango wood, exposing the mesmerizing natural colors and shades within it. As well as adding movement with vertical stripes of Chonta wood which is naturally black in color. Combining the grounding elements of wood with custom made bronze hard ware elements for the electrical components of the lamp. Curva Lamp tells a beautiful story of connection with nature and careful dedication craft.

Curvita table lamp is completely asymmetrical which is why it has varying dimensions in its form. The Lamp´s shade diameter is 22 inches while the diameter in the lamp´s body varies between 15´, 11´and 7’. It is completely stable as it has a perfectly aligned center and the grounding weight of it being made entirely out of solid wood.

Nuestras piezas son echas a mano con extremo cuidado hacia cada detalle. Su fabricación se demora entre 4-6 semanas. El tiempo de entrega será una suma entre el tiempo de fabricación y el de el viaje de el mueble desde nuestra fábrica en Quito-Ecuador a su destino final.
